Fool

Be on your guard,

For buckets held over doorframes,

Salt in the sugar canister,

Clingfilm over the toilet bowl

Beware,

Of the dodgy emails,

Posted letters filled with glitter,

Flaming bags on the porch

Be wise to the jokes,

About displaced families in a warzone,

The warming oceans,

And the rising bills

After all,

It’s just a laugh,

Isn’t it?
